Draft — last updated November 6, 2026
Privacy.
Plain language for this beta site. This is a draft of how we intend to handle data. It is not a certification, and it is not a claim that we meet any compliance program.
What this site collects today
Nothing. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no accounts. We don't see which pages you open.
The beta signup form does not send your email anywhere. It only shows a thank-you on this device. Nothing is stored.
Footage on this site
The in-browser preview reads a video file you pick and plays it in the tab. That file is not uploaded. Real clipping, when you use the desktop app, runs on your machine. We don't collect your footage or audio.
There is no LootCut copy of your VOD to retain, and none to delete. Close the tab and the preview is gone. A later beta will not start keeping footage on a server without saying so on this page first. That kind of storage is not built.
Who owns the work
You own your VODs and the clips you make from them. LootCut doesn't take that ownership.
Beta
The product is unfinished. Prices on the site are drafts. Features marked Planned don't exist yet. This page can change before launch.
