How it works

From a session
to a vertical draft.

LootCut's job is narrow on purpose: take a recorded stream and hand you the handful of moments worth posting, already labeled and cut — not a blank timeline.

The pipeline

Drop the session.
Get the moments.

1

Drop in the session

It works with your recorded VODs and mic tracks. LootCut lines up every track on one timeline. It runs on your machine, so nothing gets uploaded.

2

It finds the peaks

Loudness, onsets, and the bright band of the mix. A long session is split into intro, gameplay, and post-game, and the list stays short.

3

You review at speed

K keep · X discard · [] trim · S split · U undo. Every keypress saves.

Session phases

Every session
has a shape.

  1. Intro

    The lobby, before the match.

Shorter clips. The hook is the setup, not the payoff.

  2. Gameplay

    The run itself.

Longer clips. The reaction needs room to land before the cut.

  3. Post-game

    The debrief after.

Mid-length clips. This is where the funniest recaps usually live.

Why this clip

No black box.

Every pick shows its receipts: which signals fired, how hard, and what got penalised. Wrong call? Hit W, give a reason, and the ranking learns from you.

Last step

Vertical drafts,
captioned.

Keep a clip and LootCut can re-cut it to 9:16, decode the audio locally, and burn in bold, word-by-word captions using your own names and game terms. Still a draft — you trim and approve before anything goes out.

  1. 01

    Crop or fit

Center-crop for a tight frame, or a blurred-fit background that keeps the whole shot in view.

  2. 02

    Captions, locally

Speech-to-text runs on your machine. Custom vocabulary keeps names and game terms spelled right.

Your footage

Where it goes.
Where it doesn't.

Platforms

In and out.

  1. A recordingOne file you already have, or a mic beside it.
  2. One clockEvery mic you give it, on the same timeline.
  3. A vertical draftYou trim it and approve it. Nothing posts itself.
